Champneys Forest Mere are proud to offer you the chance to participate in 'Fitness Master Classes' taught by some of the top fitness presenters in the UK. The Master Classes have been designed to promote a sense of general wellbeing through regular exercise, illustrating the benefits of being active. Our top fitness experts will show you how to effortlessly incorporate physical activity into your daily routine, inspiring a balanced and healthy lifestyle. To take part in one of these classes you need to be a Club Member or be booked onto a Champneys day or stay package.

Pilates with Angie Du Plessis

Angie du Plessis’ fitness career began in 1991, giving her 17 years of experience in the industry. The highlights during this time included being a National Fitness Presenter in South Africa and working for the Reebok Instructors Alliance as a Master Trainer.

Dance with Mila Lazar

Mila is a professional dancer, choreographer and aerobics instructor. Mila followed a pre-ballet education, classical ballet, jazz dance, contemporary and street dance. She started performing at the age of 17 staring in musicals and TV shows all over the world.

Dance with Pierre Pozzuto

Born and raised with karate and mixed martial arts, this Pure Energy Presenter excelled in these disciplines and moved from teaching in a dojo to teaching around London as he developed his rare and original style for step, combat, spin, hi-lo and dance. He has trained celebrities including; Gail Porter, Lucy Benjamin and Ben Miller. The mix of style and international influences have made this man an exciting person to watch and train with.

Pilates & Aqua with Michelle Martin

Michelle is an energetic and entertaining Pilates, Aqua and Poolates® Presenter, who truly believes exercise classes should be fun and accessible for all ages and fitness levels. She is driven by a deep passion for Pilates and Aqua, and is the only certified Poolates® Instructor in the UK, having apprenticed directly with Poolates® founder, Rebecca Pfeiffer, in Florida, USA. This unique water based Pilates programme offers a challenging mind-body workout for everyone.

In 2002 her life changed when she trained with Dr Kataria the founder of the Laughter Club Movement, becoming a Laughter Leader Trainer. She is now the UK’s leading Laughologist bringing a sense of fun to all occasions and encouraging a better understanding of the mind/body relationship.
